Service Description
Take your first steps into the medical field by becoming a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Whether you’re interested in a career in Emergency Medical Services, the Fire Department, or the Police Department, or planning to pursue advanced medical professions such as Nursing, Physician Assistant, or Medicine, our EMT course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to save lives. You’ll learn essential patient assessment techniques and treatments for both medical and trauma emergencies. Our Hybrid EMT Course combines online instruction with in-person training over 16 weeks: • Online Learning: Weekly readings and assessments guide you through the curriculum and must be completed to progress. • In-Person Sessions: Hands-on practice and review take place on Saturdays, giving you the opportunity to apply skills in real-world scenarios. • Examinations: Midterm and final exams are conducted on-site to evaluate your knowledge and practical skills. By the end of the course, you’ll be prepared to confidently respond to emergency situations and take the next steps in your medical career. Minimum Requirements: • 16 years of age by the end of the course. • Valid State ID or Birth Certificate Tuition Includes: • Digital Textbook • Blood Pressure Cuff • Stethoscope • AHA CPR Certification • Uniform Polo • Class ID **Hard copy textbook available for an additional fee of $125 Additional items needed: • Watch with a digital readout or secondhand • Black boots • Cargo or EMS pants (Navy or Black) Please Note: This class is non-refundable.
